National

Tony Ferrari – Founder & Managing Director

With decades of business to business packaging experience under his belt, Tony founded Ferrari Packaging in 2002. At a time when others in the industry were consolidating to create larger distribution centres, Tony understood the importance of a local presence so built his business with distribution centres across Scotland to serve the needs of Scottish businesses. East Kilbride was the flagship distribution centre, followed by Dundee, and then Livingstone.

Today Tony is still very much hands on in the business serving as the Managing Director. Tony has built the company on these core tenants:

  • Treating employees and customers with courtesy and fairness, fostering a sense of community, and maintaining a focus on long-term relationships and mutual respect.
  • At all times we maintain a focus on commerciality – keeping an eye on costs whilst delivering high-quality products and services that meet needs and expectations of our customers.
  • All staff are to take responsibility for their actions and decisions, and deliver on commitments to customers and partners.
  • The team is provided with the resources, support, and autonomy they need to grow, learn, and make a meaningful impact on the company’s success

Tony is often heard saying, “Attitude and a positive outlook counts for a lot, and can help you go far. If we approach every interaction with enthusiasm and a willingness to go above and beyond the customers’ needs, we’ll continue going from strength to strength.”.

Tony has been married to Elizabeth for 37 happy years and has two sons, Marco and Dario, who both work in the family business. When he’s not working hard, Tony is running about after his lively grandchildren, holidaying with the family, and playing golf.
